  5. NOTHING HAS WORKED. First of all, I never consented to Avast being on my computer so it got snuck in through some other means or download while I was unaware. Secondly, it does not show up in the Windows 10 programs listing when I go to the conventional Add/Remove programs menu. In fact, it does not show up in the program listings under the ioBit uninstaller, the Revo uninstaller, OR File Governor uninstaller- all of which I have tried. All the Avast files are located under the C:// Program Files heading. With the above uninstallers I have attempted to pull up the Avast applications through the Browse tool, and every program has been unsuccessful in deleting ANY Avast file. Trying to kill the task in the Task Manager gives me the same problem- "failure to delete task" is the response. So then I downloaded Malwarebytes' File Assassin and even THAT has not been able to delete Avast. WTF?!?!?!? CAN SOMEBODY GET THIS EVIL PARASITE OFF MY COMPUTER PLEASE?!? Avast has to be some form of ransomware or malware, otherwise why would it refuse to leave when it's not wanted?
